More than a moment in time.
I believe exploring a new place should feel like walking with a good friend—easy, fun, and full of little surprises you’d never find on your own!
From historic monuments to shoreline views, I hand-pick every stop so you leave with stories worth sharing. Plymouth Perspectives Guided Tours was founded on a simple belief: visitors deserve more than a list of dates and landmarks. They deserve experiences that reveal why Plymouth continues to matter today.
I'm Lisa Olivere, a retired educator with a Master's degree in History and nearly 30 years of experience teaching high school social studies. Most recently, I served as Director of K–12 Social Studies for Fairfield Public Schools, overseeing curriculum and instruction for more than 10,000 students and 350 educators.
Today, I bring that same passion for storytelling and historical interpretation to professionally guided tours that explore Plymouth through the voices, experiences, and perspectives that have shaped the town across generations.
My tours are conversational rather than scripted, thoughtful rather than trivial, and welcoming rather than overwhelming.
Together, we'll explore the people, places, ideas, and stories that connect Plymouth's iconic past to the vibrant community it is today!
